Lead by Dr. Mirsini Trigoni, teams of students on MA Global Fashion Retailing joined forces with design agency Checkland Kindleysides to develop innovative, strategic design proposals for a new Adidas Originals service, concept space or experience. Incorporating sustainability ethos and dedicated to Rent, Recycle or Resale, the final proposals were intended to appeal to ‘London sneakerheads and streetwear hypebeasts’.

"We are delighted to have collaborated again with global retail design agency Checkland Kindleysides on the Creative Retail Spaces Unit live project, giving students unique insight and practice into future-thinking retail spaces, services, experiences and activations relevant to fashion brands to connect and engage" - Bethan Alexander, Course Director - MA Global Fashion Retailing

From Sambarose's proposal.

Two teams, Sambarose and JRACK, were selected based on their proposals - winning a masterclass on creative practice, research, developing innovative ideas and pitching designs with Mike Tristram, Senior Strategist - Checkland Kindleysides.

From JRACK's proposal.

“In our fifth year of collaborating with the London College of Fashion we set students one of the most complex design briefs yet. The proposals we got back were exciting, diverse and thought-provoking. For me personally, it's been an honour to nurture the next-generation of fashion retail professionals." - Mike Tristram, Senior Strategist at Checkland Kindleysides
