Sophia Webster x Puma …

Sportswear giant Puma has partnered with footwear designer, and LCF alum, Sophia Webster on a colourful, irreverent footwear and clothing collection. Sophia Webster x Puma combines the designer’s love of design and dance and features a range of bold, Instagram friendly dancewear and footwear emblazoned with Sophia’s trademark butterflies and unicorns. Victoria reveals her secrets…

The annual Victoria’s Secrets circus is rolling into Shanghai it was announced this week. Castings for the show, which will air on Nov 28 2017, took place in New York and were something of a catwalk themselves – spawning 100s of street style editorials. The full list of models has not been confirmed but Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo will return after a year’s hiatus.  See the shots on 

Scaling high fashion…

Outerwear brand North Face is continuing to scale high fashion with a menswear collaboration with Sacai. Having previously collaborated with Supreme and Junya Watanabe the brand has built a streetwear cult following and this latest 17 piece collection cements their place in fashion. The collection was first shown at Sacai’s A/W menswear show and will be available from Dover Street Market. Read BoF’s view on the brand’s collaboration strategy. 

Babe power…

Babe Power, the first fragrance from fast fashion brand MissGuided has become the fastest selling women’s fragrance in 2017 after the first drop sold out in 3 hours. In a pink can and smelling of candy floss and cake, Babe Power has all the markers of a millennial must have. The Guardian wrote about the power of the millennial pink pound this week.

L’Oreal’s misfire…

Only a few weeks ago L’Oreal were being lauded for their hiring of trans model Munroe Bergdorf as part of their L’Oreal Paris True Match campaign. Now there are accusations of tokenism hiring and calls for a boycott of all L’Oreal products after they knee-jerk dropped the model after she commented on racism in the industry.
