Careers and Employability empowers UAL students and graduates to make a living doing what they love.
We offer practical events, mentoring, funding, advice and temporary work to support UAL students and graduates with their freelance work, artistic practice, business or career.
- One-to-one advice.
- Job opportunities and paid internships.
- Student-led initiatives.
- Opportunities to showcase and exhibit work.
Support is free and accessible to all of our students.
Who do you help?
We believe that everyone should be able to achieve their creative ambitions, regardless of their background or circumstance.
Our services are generally open to students and graduates (up to 5 years after graduation) from all UAL Colleges. Some opportunities (such as funding and selected internships) are limited to specific groups but we make it clear when this is the case.
Where can I find you?
Careers and Employability doesn’t have a student-facing office. However, we do have Student Employability Practitioners; members of staff who are based in each College during term time and run events to support you with your career.
Support for graduates is provided by our dedicated Graduate Developer.

Your future helps shape our future
Careers and Employability are committed to helping you to make a living doing what you love. It's really important to us to find out how you are getting on, so we will be getting back in touch about 15 months after you have graduated to conduct the 'Graduate Outcomes Survey'.
The information you share with us will help us to understand what all of our graduates are doing, which in turn will inform how we design careers support for the next generation of UAL graduates. Please help us and future graduates by taking a few minutes to respond.
To find out more about the survey please email: email@example.com
