On occasion, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) can become busy due to functions, events, and football matches at the London Stadium as well as other venues around the Park. The Park's surrounding areas, travel routes, and facilities may be busier than usual when matches are scheduled and routes in and out of the Park are altered to accommodate large crowds of people.

As match and event dates are subject to change, we’ve put together some advice on how you can plan ahead.

Football matches at London Stadium:

Up and coming dates of the matches are listed below, however as dates and time can change at short notice, we recommend downloading the West Ham United games into your calendar for advance notice of when matches will be taking place. (Game results and changes in schedules are updated automatically).

Events on the QEOP:

There are many venues on the QEOP that schedule sporting and music events all year round and you can see an up-to-date list on the QEOP website.

Safety and Security on the Park:

LCF's campus is located on the Park’s East Bank and is a public park open 24/7. Built with community safety in mind, millions of visitors come to the park to visit the world-class venues and sporting facilities, enjoy the beautiful green biodiverse landscapes, go for a run, take the dog for a walk, cycle on the bike routes, and going for a bite to eat in the local places cafes and restaurants.

The Park was the first in the UK to achieve Secure by Design accreditation, which is the official security initiative that works to improve the security of buildings and their immediate surroundings to provide safe places to live, work, shop, and visit.

24/7 CCTV and Security Patrols

There are more than 150 CCTV cameras in use which provide comprehensive coverage across the Park and are monitored 24hrs a day all year round, alongside regular patrols by uniformed staff.

Contacting QEOP security and reporting an incident on the Park

Should you need to contact security immediately to report an incident, gain assistance, or alert us to suspicious activity, please call 0300 2012 222. This number is also listed on the maps displayed throughout the Park. In an emergency always dial 999 first.

Lit routes and numbered lampposts

The routes on the Park are well lit and the lampposts have a unique number on them. If you get lost or need help, you can call 0300 2012 222 and let them know the number of the lamppost so they can find you easily.

If you are planning to be in the Park after dusk then it is worth planning your route in advance, as some areas in the north Park are deliberately less well-lit at night to promote biodiversity habitats. We also recommend letting people know where you are going and the route you are taking.
