Join us and Ben Turner at JJ Studios

Collaborate with the UAL Marketing team to create creative, editorial-style photos of your work.

We’re teaming up with photographer Ben Turner and JJ Studios to photograph your work. This is an amazing opportunity to experience a professional studio environment, get high quality, creative images of your work for your portfolio and to have your work shared with a wide audience.

Ben Turner is a commercial photographer working across fashion, sports, and lifestyle. He’s worked with brands such as Jaguar, Lululemon, Salomon Running and now– hopefully you!

We love a challenge. We are looking for work from all courses. Even if you think your style of work isn’t typically photographed in a studio– think creative robotics, sculpture, product design, visual merchandising, furniture– we’re in!

We want your creative ideas. If you have any specific ideas about how you want to shoot your work, we’d love to hear them!

The details 

Photoshoots will take place Tuesday 2 July through Thursday 4 July at a studio in Shoreditch. Fill in the online form  by 8 June 2025 to be considered for a spot.

Photoshoots are open to students from all courses and study levels. You just need to be a current student or recent graduate from one of our pre-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate courses at UAL and own the content (the work photographed should be yours).

Spaces are limited. To apply for your work to be photographed, please fill out this online form with some details about you and your work. We will make a selection and contact you if you are successful. The deadline is 8 June 2025, but early submissions are highly recommended.

All students participating in the shoot will get professional images of their work. Final photography will be added to the UAL Image Library, our internal hub of images. This means your work could be used on our website, social channels, and possibly even printed materials.
