BA (Hons) Advertising students Alice Pelizza, Armna Khan and Eszter Boldov were awarded a commendation at You Can Now's Student Awards 2018/19.
You Can Now (YCN) is a learning network that provides training, educational programmes, and collaborative partnerships to enable creative organisations to meet their business needs.
YCN set an advertising brief for Art Fund, a charity which fundraises to aid access to art across the United Kingdom. Alice, Armna and Eszter were tasked with creating a campaign that would increase awareness of how visiting galleries and museums can relieve stress.
Speaking of how their studies prepared them for the competition, the students said that “the tutors gave us constant feedback on our ideas, and because they have also judged similar competitions in the past were able to teach us about what briefs look for.
“We really enjoyed our time together as a group, and the thrill you get by coming up with an idea together is unparalleled.”
