Thinking about what we wear; what we throw away. Thinking about what we buy. We all have think MORE responsibly now. Thought is the new religion.

We kicked off London Fashion Week with the vibrant Vin+Omi SS19 show at St. Pancras International. In their largest eco show to date, they showcased many of their different eco textiles and processes all with social impact collaborations. The bags in the show were a collaboration with LCF in a project called BIN 2 BODY.

The BIN 2 BODY project launched at London Fashion Week Men’s, where we collected waste plastic bottles from fashion week and then processed them into durable rPET textiles, that were then transformed into the bags that you see on the catwalk.

Congratulations to students and alumni Leanna Kirkup from BA (Hons) 3D Effects for Performance and Fashion, Lisbeth Berg from MA Fashion Futures, Francess Aougah who studies BA (Hons) Fashion Public Relations and Communication, Sorcha Maguire from BA (Hons) 3D Effects for Performance and Fashion, Jennifer Van Der Linde from BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles and Joan Goyeche from BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development, for all their hard work on the project.
