LCF Undergraduate Class of 2023 celebrates our world-class undergraduate students from across our portfolio of courses, spotlighting work from our business, design and media schools, including fashion, accessories, fashion film, fashion photography, VR experiences and more.
On Saturday 15 July, we hosted our Fashion Communication spotlight at East London's Protein Studios. This immersive event showcased the fast-paced future of fashion media through films, images, magazines and displays, featuring work from BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation; Fashion Public Relations & Communications; Critical Practice in Fashion Media; and Creative Direction for Fashion.
Captured below are some highlights from the exhibition spotlight however the full range of objects and pieces are available to view on the UAL Graduate Showcase.
Following the event, Sophie Barr, course leader for BA (Hons) Critical Practice in Fashion Media said:
"The work that the Fashion Media Practice and Criticism class of 2023 produced this year was incredible. Every student produced an exploratory, critical fashion communication project with an aim of making meaningful change in these uncertain times. Their work demonstrates the centrality and power of fashion communication to imagine better futures and influence audiences. I am so proud of this cohort of critical practitioners - the world will be a better place with these thoughtful, dynamic and caring humans in it!"
