As part of London College of Communication’s ongoing support to our cultural neighbours, we’re featuring a weekly round-up of some of the online activities and content provided by the fantastic museums, galleries and cultural venues in our local area.
From Instagram drawing clubs to virtual exhibitions, artist profiles, video demonstrations, film screenings, performances and more, here’s our guide to what you can get involved in with our Southwark and Lambeth friends and partners – all from the comfort of your own home.
Week starting: 1 June 2020
Walworth Warblers: Walworth Living Room
Walworth Warblers is a weekly online choir you can join from your bedroom. Whether you’re used to singing on the stage or in the shower, join to learn a popular song together, bit-by-bit, culminating in your very own private performance.
Every Monday at 6.30pm

Rock Paper Scissors: The Drawing Room
Our latest activity sheet is devised by artist Jake Garfield: it invites children to look carefully at someone in their family and explore experimental ways of drawing portraits. This activity sheet has grown out of a workshop Jake led at Drawing Room before lockdown and features drawings made by children from our Rock Paper Scissors after-school club.
A new activity sheet will be sent every Monday during this period.

Join via Zoom Meeting (Meeting ID: 863 4245 3271 Password: 507108) or watch live on Facebook.
4 June at 7.00pm
Find out more on the Walworth Society Facebook page.
Walworth Socially Distanced Plant Exchange: Walworth Society
