Oktoberfest 2020 with Mercato Metropolitano
Physical event. 23 September – 4 October, 6-10pm
“We're back for Oktoberfest 2020! Enjoy London's original craft Oktoberfest hosted at the 1200 sq. meter 'Brew Garden' within Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle.
“The team from Mercato Metropolitano and us are working really hard to make this experience as safe as possible.
“Oktoberfest celebrations will stretch over 11 days to avoid crowd formations and we recommend coming during the week.”

Percolate Programme 2020: Practices of the Nows/Practices for the future: Part of Freedom School with Siobhan Davies Dance Studios
Virtual event. Saturday 26 September, 6-8pm
“Percolate is a new programme from Siobhan Davies Studios offering flexible support to artists.
“In January 2020 we held our first open call - we wanted to hear ideas that might not fit into ordinary funding structures, or about something new that artists were testing. The aim was to be responsive and timely – to hear what artists need and be able to offer it.
“Freedom School: Collective Movement Practices for and by People of Colour is a series of gatherings that experiment with modes of moving, learning, becoming, and organising together for dance practitioners of colour.

Artist Studio Talk and Tour with Ann Churchill with the Drawing Room
Virtual event. Tuesday 22 September: 6-7pm
“Providing a unique and personal insight into Ann Churchill’s practice, this event coincides with the gallery’s current exhibition Not Without My Ghosts: The Artist As Medium in which the artist’s works from the 1970s and 2000s will be shown in a public gallery for the first time.
“Following an introduction by Drawing Room Director Mary Doyle, Ann Churchill will be in conversation with Jacqui McIntosh, Drawing Room Exhibitions Manager.
“As part of the event a specially commissioned short film made by Finley Mist in collaboration with the artist will be screened.”

Refugees: Forced to Flee with Imperial War Museum
Physical event. Opens 24 September
“Refugees: Forced to Flee, the new exhibition at IWM London, explores a century of refugee experiences, from Nazi Germany’s persecution of Jews and the Kindertransport, to the Calais Jungle and the treacherous Mediterranean crossings.
“The exhibition also highlights the UK’s response to refugee crises over the last 100 years.”

Crossway and the Mayflower: A 400 Year Voyage! – Shared Stories and Food Event with People's Company and Crossway URC
Physical event. 22 September 4.30-6pm
"Sharing stories event of people’s journey to our community to celebrate our diversity and make parallels to the migrants who migrated to America for a better life on the Mayflower in 1640!”
