London College of Communication is offering free website design and build to local charities.
We’d like to work with 15 charities that aim to tackle disadvantage and make a positive difference to the lives of people living and working in Southwark, partnering them with students from our Design School to design and build a modern website.
The scheme will allow local charities to increase their visibility, create an online presence and further their reach by creating a simple, tailor-made modern website. Each charity will be matched with a student from our Design School, trained in web and user experience design. The charities will receive the website design and build for free, and the students will be paid for their work.
The offer is part of our Talent Works project – a programme giving recent LCC graduates paid freelance jobs with social enterprises, charities and community groups. Previous Talent Works projects have included an MA Graphic Media Design graduate designing a website for Grow Elephant, a student from BA (Hons) Interaction Design Arts creating a short film for the Bike Project, and more.
