On 18 February 2022, London College of Fashion celebrated its LCFMA22 catwalk show in the iconic Victoria House Basement, in front of a packed audience of press, industry and more. The venue filled with the likes of British Fashion Council Chief Executive Caroline Rush, The Face Magazine, i-D Magazine and a number of TikTok stars. The catwalk brought together MA Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear), MA Fashion Design Technology (Menswear), MA Footwear and MA Fashion Artefact graduates in the same show. With themes exploring cultural identity, sustainability and gender representation, the hair was led by official partner of London Fashion Week TONI&GUY and make-up and skincare led by Maria Comparetto.
Ana Blumenkron documented the entire essence of LCFMA22, including the excitement and the energy of backstage before the catwalk show. Ana captured the moments leading up to the show, with the hair and make-up teams working against the clock to get the models ready for the catwalk, and the students adding the finishing touches to their collections before showing them to a packed audience.
