Biography

Jane Walton is a lecturer and consultant with over 20 years industry experience in PR and brand communications. As well as founding her own PR agency, she has worked at a number of global communications agencies creating campaigns for brands spanning design, fashion, media and technology sectors.

Clients have  included Hugo Boss, Wonderbra, Bo Concept, Microsoft, FitBit and Channel 4. Today, in her work as a freelance consultant, she helps to raise the profile and grow opportunities for local, start-up sustainable fashion businesses within the London Fashion District, from independent designers to preloved fashion initiatives.

As an academic, Jane is committed to driving innovative ways to tell brand stories and raising awareness of the impact that fashion brands can make towards social, climate and racial justice. She also supports students in developing their knowledge of creating crisis response strategies as well as the impact of emerging technology in the field of communication.

Her role also involves seeking out collaborative opportunities with industry partners, enhancing the student experience and developing their professional skills by responding to real life scenarios.
