Biography

Agatha Connolly is an academic and communications specialist with over 15 years of industry experience spanning fashion PR, marketing, and brand consultancy. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Year 3 Lead on the course.

After graduating with a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of East Anglia, Agatha began her career working for the PR specialist Mandi Lennard, where she worked with renowned fashion designers such as Gareth Pugh, Roksanda Ilincic and Henry Holland.

She then went on to work in the press office at London College of Fashion, nurturing the next generation of creative talent and re-launching the College's Fashion Space Gallery - building its reputation to an international level with exhibitions such as “Warpaint: Alexander McQueen and Make-Up “and “Mad About The Boy”.

Agatha has worked on press and social media strategies across fashion shows, campaigns, events, books and exhibitions. As well as her work with emerging designers and international brands, Agatha has worked with various art galleries, museums and curators. Clients include Dior, Barbie (Mattel), Fashion East, W London, LOVE magazine and SHOWstudio.

Agatha has also completed an MA in Cultural and Critical Studies. She has held visiting lectureships at the Royal College of Art and Condé Nast College.
