Valentina is a London-based journalist, curator, and communications consultant with extensive experience across the fields of fashion, art, design, and media. Since 2013, she has contributed to international publications including the Italian editions of ELLE, Marie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar as a UK correspondent. Her professional practice also includes art curation and PR consultancy, working with clients across fashion, design, cultural institutions, galleries, and the arts.
Valentina has served as Special Projects Manager and Curator for AWITA (Association of Women in the Arts), developing and delivering projects in collaboration with galleries, museums, and cultural institutions. She was also Design and Art Editor at Large for HIA, a leading magazine in the Arab world, for seven years, working across international editorial and creative contexts.
Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Management for Foreign Languages and Communication from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and postgraduate study in Creative Journalism at the London School of Journalism. Her interdisciplinary background in communication, journalism, cultural practice, and international management informs her approach to teaching and professional practice.
At University of the Arts London (UAL), Valentina is an Associate Lecturer teaching across BA (Hons) and MA Public Relations and Media Communications programmes. She also contributes to Summer Study Abroad short courses at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins. Her teaching draws on professional experience in journalism, public relations, cultural communications, editorial practice, and creative industries, with a focus on connecting academic frameworks with contemporary industry contexts and professional practice.
