Biography

Valentina has been living and working in London since 2013, where she has built a strong presence in the fashion and art industries. She regularly contributes to publications including the Italian editions of ElleMarie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar as a UK correspondent. Alongside her editorial work, Valentina works as an independent art curator and PR consultant, collaborating with a wide range of clients in design, fashion, and the arts. She also serves as Special Projects Manager and curator for AWITA (Association of Women in the Arts), where she develops and curates projects in partnership with galleries, institutions, and museums.

For seven years, she held the role of Design and Art Editor at Large for HIA, a leading magazine in the Arab world, which gave her the opportunity to engage with an international audience and broaden her global perspective.

Her educational background is equally diverse: she completed her Master’s in International Management for Foreign Languages and Communication at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and later pursued Creative Journalism at LSJ in London. These experiences gave her both a practical understanding of global markets and a strong foundation in media and communication, shaping the multidisciplinary approach she brings to her work.

Valentina’s passion for design, art, and fashion is evident in every project she takes on, whether curating exhibitions, writing features, or consulting on communications. She brings curiosity and creativity to her work, always attentive to new ideas, trends, and perspectives that can inspire and spark dialogue.

In addition to her professional practice, Valentina is committed to education and mentoring. As an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London (UAL), she teaches across both BA (Hons) and MA Public Relations and Media Communications courses, guiding students as they develop their creative and professional skills. Teaching allows her to support emerging talent while staying connected to fresh approaches and evolving trends within the industry.
