Biography

Tara is Course Leader for BA (Hons) Design for Art Direction at London College of Communication. Tara is an artist, designer and educator. Her industry experiences span graphic design, visual research and art direction for fashion, branding, music videos and commercials.

With 15 years teaching experience, Tara has also taught on undergraduate courses in graphic design, illustration and fashion communication.

As a tutor and course leader, Tara’s priorities are to foster critical approaches to the growing discipline of art direction that address the complexities of responding to social, economic and political shifts that affect visual culture; to support students as emerging practitioners and to create the conditions for experimentation, play and meaningful collaboration, and to share in the pursuit of making engaging and playful work.
