Biography

Sam is 3D Subject Lead for BA (Hons) Computer Animation and Visual Effects at London College of Communication. He is an American born 3D artist and animator with education in traditional animation and stop-motion.

Sam has dipped his toes into all types of digital three-dimensional art, from interactive installations, 3D Print, VR experiences, live installations, and his current brain-child passion project, an indie game about a lone-wolf detective German Shepherd named Max Malone under his own game studio, ‘Two Meter Games’.

Sam particularly loves art that leaves the screen blurring the lines between the realm of physical and digital, whether this is projection mapping, a 3D-printed model, or an interactive piece of ‘living art’.

Sam has worked with a variety of clients big and small, including Nike, Rag-N-Bone Man, Adidas, Cartoon Network, and Aardman Animations. He has taught at Delaware College of Art and Design, and Moore College of Art and Design in the US.
