BA (Hons) Advertising graduate Charlotte Cramer talks about her time at LCC and highlights of the course.
After graduating I was fortunate to work as a strategist at Mother London on a variety of accounts such as Boots and Stella Artois. After this role I joined JWT (Global Advertising Agency) where I am currently working as a digital strategist on Kit Kat, Aero and first direct.
In my spare time I work with my partner from university offering creative innovation consultancy to charities such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Save the Children. We also run a social enterprise that won Start Up Britain's Pitch Up competition and we are currently in the process of launching a product to help children deal with their fear of the dark (watch this space!).
I genuinely feel that the BA (Hons) Advertising course at LCC has helped make this all possible: from the course leader's relentless passion; to the amazing industry contacts such as the One Club in New York; and the open minded approach to problem solving.
I graduated with an incredible array of contacts, skills and aspirations that go far beyond traditional advertising. If you're lazy or think University's going to be easy, this isn't the course for you. If you're willing to put in the energy and enthusiasm then you'll graduate with what equates to a brilliant degree and well-rounded, practical industry experience.
