Billie is the Course Leader for BA (Hons) Computer Animation and Visual Effects at London College of Communication.
Having worked extensively in visual effects (VFX) in London and around the world since 2003, Billie is accredited a certified Nuke trainer by Foundry. She has worked for a host of companies including The Mill, MPC, Framestore, Glassworks, Territory Studio and many more.
Experienced across film, commercials and episodic, Billie is well acquainted with the many facets of VFX and is committed to providing a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment within which students can thrive and develop the necessary skills in order to succeed in the industry.
Billie has an MA in Philosophy; having taught the subject in schools. She encourages students to use philosophical concepts in their written and project work alongside mastering technical skills. A trained mindfulness teacher, her focus is the intersection of mindfulness and creativity. Ensuring students thrive not only in developing prerequisite skills but also in exploring their creative potential.
