Last week, the Adobe Express team visited London College of Fashion (LCF), UAL's East Bank campus to celebrate the achievement with festive goodies and free concert tickets.

Adobe Express' A-List competition involved all the creative campuses in the UK that were using Adobe services, and UAL has proved to be the top Creative Campus for calculated usage of Adobe Express.

The 13-week-long campaign began in September 2024 with the goal of encouraging younger consumers to get involved with the technology tools offered by the Adobe Express app.

"Many people see Adobe as difficult software to use, so this app is designed to help them realise that it's not complicated, even if you're not tech-savvy."

— Megan Belbin, Campaign Manager

The campaign involved recruiting student ambassadors who organised giveaways and other activities at their respective campuses to encourage students to sign up for the app and earn points by exporting their designs.

BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation student Laaibah Amjad found out about the opportunity from a friend and thought it could be a great addition to her CV. "I got chosen to create content for social media, and it was really fun to follow the briefs and be creative," she says.

With a total of 144 student ambassadors recruited across the UK, Laaibah managed to become the most successful, gathering over 5,000 clicks on her personal link within two weeks.

The campaign has been very insightful in terms of learning about the real student experience.

"We've been to quite a few different campuses now, and UAL certainly is among the most creative ones."

Kalvin's team has especially appreciated how savvy UAL students have been at creating digital content to promote the campaign.

As the winner, UAL has not only been given early bird access to the free Adobe Express concert happening at Drumsheds London in March 2025 but also will receive VIP tickets to the event.

"It's just going to be a huge student party with some A-list performers," Megan sums up the exciting event, noting that the secret line-up will be revealed in January.
