LCF Careers: Small and medium-sized businesses account for 99.9% of private sector companies and provide 60% of private sector jobs (CBI). These enterprises have an important role to play in driving growth, opening new markets and creating jobs. Within the fashion and lifestyle industries, SMEs are at the heart of nurturing fashion talent.
Fashion Edge has engaged with students from the School of Management & Science at LCF as part of their placement year for several years now, and are always looking for the next budding student. LCF will be continuing to work with SMEs as part of its Fashion Business School, which launches in March 2015 and is in the process of submitting an application for Small Business Charter status. The team have employed graduates as they invest substantial capital in the business and are thus able to invest in showrooms, PR, technological support and most importantly the best staff to ensure delivery of the service and results to which they aspire. Students have always had a great experience and the team have been incredibly supportive of their development.
