After kicking off #LCF19 graduate season with the School of Media and Communication exhibition, it's now time to put the focus on our next show. Graduates from School of Design and Technology have come together to prepare the biggest show we've ever had, with catwalks, exhibitons and workshops to showcase their final collections. In the lead up to this event, we've been catching up with the students to hear more about their projects and what they're most excited about starting their professional careers in the fashion industry.

They will showcase their creations at Here East on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 July 2019. You can see the show via our live stream on the website and keep an eye on our Instagram and Twitter feeds for updates.

A preview of the LCF19 BA (Hons) Fashion Contour collections below…

‘Roam’ is a contoured outerwear collection designed for the carefree Australian woman. The pieces represent freedom from the tyranny of traditional underwear garments.

BA Fashion Contour is one of a kind course with exceptional expertise. I’m very excited about the idea of a fashion industry developing more and more sustainable innovations in the future.

My collection 'New Focus' presents lingerie designed to enhance the beauty of the female form, with silhouettes and layering surrounding the body to catch the eye. It's lingerie that empowers the wearer.

I'm very excited to be part of the fashion industry because of the positive impact it can have and the issues it can bring to light to help many different causes.

‘Opulent Allure’ is a lingerie collection characterised by the presence of hand-beaded detailing on multiple pieces. I believe 3D body scanning will have huge impacts on the way we consume clothing and the way we wear lingerie and swimwear. I want to create products entirely tailored to the consumer for the perfect fit and feeling.
