What inspires you?
At the moment, I am inspired by science, technology and future materials. I design through the process of manufacture, trialing and testing of methodologies often leading to more interesting design outcomes. My footwear often intends to question strength and material suitability.
Did you receive a scholarship during your studies? If so which one?
Yes I received a scholarship from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and I also received the Dato Jimmy Choo award.
What are your future plans?
I intend to work within the industry initially, within a brand that reflects my current work, but eventually I would love to develop a practice of my own.
What was it like studying your postgraduate course at LCF?
It was great, I enjoyed every minute of it. Even the extremely stressful times. The tutors and technicians have given really good support throughout.
