Mariana is from Brazil and studied MA Fashion Design Technology Womenwear.
What and where did you study prior to your MA at LCF?
I did my BA in Fashion Design at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in Sao Paulo, than I moved to London and did the Graduate Diploma at LCF.
What inspires you?
Everything is a source of inspiration for me. In this collection I was inspired by my childhood memories, but I am also very found of using art, architecture and even philosophy as inspiration.
What are your future plans?
I am trying to launch my own brand here in London. Right now, I am in the process of gathering funds and working on the bureaucratic parts.
What advice would you give someone wanting to undertake postgraduate study at LCF?
Prepare yourself for a life journey, be self motivated, organized and have a very open mind. Here you will make great friends, learn a lot and have the time of your life.
