The Icon Design Awards are Icon Magazine’s annual celebration of the best in architecture and design from Britain and across the world. There are eleven categories which cover all aspects of the industry, from emerging talents to high profile buildings, interiors and exhibitions.

The awards also have a special focus on socially responsible and ethical projects and are judged by top names and industry. The Icon awards are some of the most prestigious prizes in the design calendar.

Vicky Richardson, Director of Fashion, Design and Architecture at the British Council said:

“Bernadette Deddens and Tetso Mukai [also of Study O Portable] have been compared to poets in their desire to explore esoteric and elliptical themes. Their often witty, surreal approach has attracted some illustrious collaborators and makes them a truly distinctive voice in the world of design.”
