MA Fashion Design Technology alumnus Domingo Rodriguez, 26 has been selected as one of Drapers 30 under 30 for 2014. The list highlights the young designers to look out for this year.
Rodriguez came to LCF after winning the Harold Tillman scholarship to study for his masters, he was later snapped up by online store ASOS for a collaboration following the success of his final catwalk show and was named one of Esquire magazine’s ‘7 Brilliant Brits’.
Domingo said “I’ve had a really positive response with a lot of people reaching out to say well done. I’ve had a couple of good opportunities come from it as well – one from a manufacturer for product placement for a really big film.”
Paul Kramrisch, sales manager for leather manufacturer NSL said of Rodriguez “Domingo’s eye for detail and desire to push the boundaries on product development will ensure that his target customer will stand up and take notice of his new collections.”
