LCF Class of 2022: Catwalk Highlights and BTS

On Wednesday 13 July 2022, graduates from School of Design and Technology showcased their final pieces on the runway at Truman Brewery in east London. Students took part in pulling together an amazing catwalk with industry guests. Backstage was buzzing with London College of Fashion’s very own BA (Hons) Hair and Makeup for Fashion students pulling together the finishing looks.

Photographer Ana Blumenkron captured the beauty behind the scenes amongst the hubbub of the busy moments leading up to the show. The atmosphere was filled with vivacity and high spirits with last minute tweaks being added to the garments to help it all come together.

The catwalk commenced with a mix of physical and digital versions of the individuals who highlighted their best work.

The evening ended with an exclusive opening of the Class of 2022 Exhibition with celebratory drinks. The VIP guests were given the chance to roam around the space and check out the work created by the young talents from our Business Fashion School, School of Media and Communication as well as some extra pieces made by the School of Design and Technology students. Some of the graduates also had the chance to showcase their work with a salon show with models presenting their garments.
