In an exciting collaboration with London College of Fashion, UAL, Cass Art, Colart and Liquitex, LCF’s BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles students have been studying fashion’s reoccurring focus on ‘flowers’. Reinterpreting a variety of blossoms through realism, abstraction, minimal to maximal compositions, textiles clothing and photographic staging. Generously equipped with Liquitex art materials, students experimented to depict flowers everywhere. Together with artist Rob Unett and LCF’s MA Fashion Photography alumna Kasia Wozniak - a series of ten magnificent blooms flourished.
Designers, Photographers, Stylists, Models, Hair and Make-up artists have a long standing, working affiliation that LCF uniquely cultivates through collaboration. Connecting creativity through our collaborative community and partnership with industry is intrinsic to all of our courses.
Professor José Teunissen, Dean of School of Design and Technology has said:
We are thrilled to have partnered with Cass Art, Colart and Liquitex to support students’ projects like this. Resulting in a great learning experience and visually enriching imagery.”
