Biography

Glenn Waldron is an award-winning writer and journalist.

A former Editor of i-D magazine, Glenn began his career working in television before becoming i-D’s Berlin correspondent then Editor of the magazine in 2004. Since leaving i-D, Glenn has written for a variety of publications including the New York Times, Vogue, W magazine, Wallpaper*, The Guardian, Another, Nylon and 10 Magazine and held various at-large positions include Contributing Menswear Editor for The Independent, Style Director for Arena and Contributing Features Editor at Fantastic Man magazine.

Glenn has written for a variety of publications including the New York Times, Vogue, W magazine and Wallpaper.

As a freelance journalist, he has reported from Paris, Milan and New York Fashion Week for The Independent and profiled leading figures from fashion and culture - interview subjects range from Justin Timberlake, Courtney Love and Scarlett Johansson to Calvin Klein, Yohji Yamamoto and Raf Simons. He has also written introductory features and essays for the books Fashion Now, Fashion Now 2 and Smile i-D, all published by Taschen, and worked with brands including Chanel, Uniqlo, Soho House and MTV. As a playwright, Glenn’s debut play, Forever House, was produced in 2013 and he is currently under commission to the Bush, Company of Angels and the Drum theatre.

He lives in East London and has a blue whippet called Wilf.
