Biography

Fabio Merche is a Creative Director, creative consultant, and lecturer working at the intersection of fashion, technology, and visual storytelling. Alongside his creative practice, he lectures on the BA Styling and Production course at London College of Fashion, where he delivers units in creative direction, innovative media, digital communication, and visual culture. His approach bridges academia and industry, combining strategic thinking with a strong artistic sensibility, driven by a passion for innovation, cultural storytelling, and shaping the future of fashion communication.

With more than a decade of experience spanning luxury fashion, publishing, branding, moving image, and digital culture, his practice explores innovative forms of communication through still imagery, video, AI, immersive media, and contemporary editorial narratives. Based in London, he has collaborated with international brands and publications including Apple, Vogue Italia, Gucci, Beauty Papers, Document Journal, Balenciaga, Fendi, Moschino, and MSGM, developing advertising campaigns, editorial projects, and creative concepts that merge innovation with a strong and distinctive visual identity.

His aesthetic is informed by avant-garde art, cinema, early digital culture, and fashion, reinterpreted through a futuristic lens. After graduating from London College of Fashion – UAL and gaining experience working with publications such as Dazed, Fabio developed a multidisciplinary approach that blends still imagery, moving image, editorial storytelling, branding, and emerging technologies. His work is driven by constant experimentation, focusing on pushing creative boundaries through new media and immersive visual experiences.

Fabio is also the co-founder of VHFdigital, a future-focused fashion platform redefining publishing through the fusion of video, print, technology, and interactive experiences — from social media activations and immersive campaigns to four-dimensional retail experiences. Through VHFdigital, he has collaborated with some of the leading names in the fashion industry, with the platform receiving recognition from publications including Business of Fashion, Vogue Italia, and Women's Wear Daily.
