Tate Modern
A month by month journey through Picasso’s ‘year of wonders’ 1932 was an intensely creative period in the life of the 20th century’s most influential artist. This is the first ever solo Pablo Picasso exhibition at Tate Modern. Until 9 September 2018

Diversity Matters Awareness Week at LCC
A series of events covering themes to promote race equality; representation of marginalised groups, diversity in the creative industries, student-staff dialogue, mental wellbeing and innovative thinking through creativity. 23 April – 27 April. “One week, 11 events addressing race equality awareness through workshops, talks and creative projects!”, recommends organiser Kai Luttedrot, BA (Hons) Journalism graduate.

Morgan Stanley Friday Lates: A Bridge to the Continent
Wallace Collection
Celebrating young talent from across London and Europe to create an evening of talks, performances, happenings and installations taking inspiration from the European cross-culture collaborations in the collection as curated by creative Rosemary Cronin. Featuring two LCC BA (Hons) Interaction Design Arts students amongst student work from across UAL, Siobhan Davies Dance, Birkbeck and Queen Mary University. “What looks to be a great night celebrating future creators from London and beyond, enabling the public to be involved in art, design, craft and more,” recommends Megan St Clair Morgan, Communications Coordinator. 20 April 2018, 6.30-9.30pm

Twinkle Twinkle
Touched Theatre, Arts Depot
Touched Theatre are touring their new shows for 1-3 year olds called Twinkle Twinkle. They will be performing in London at the Arts Depot May 30th – June 2nd, but can be seen at other venues throughout May. “This is one for all of those who have young children (or are still very young at heart!). Lovely puppetry, touching story and great music!,” recommends Sara Ekenger, Course Leader for MA Design Management and Cultures. 30 May – 2 June 2018

Beta Public VIII
Camden People’s Theatre
Discover new videogames and performance, whilst experimenting, collaborating and sharing awesome stuff. David King, MA Games Design Course Leader, says: “I’ve managed to make it to most of the previous Beta Public events and each one has been fantastic and insightful. It’s a collection of varied, unique and interesting games and theatre pieces which merge together to provoke deep discussions. Or if you’re not feeling deep, play fun/weird games, watch some marvellous theatre and meet great new people.” 30 April 2018, 7pm
