From Monday 9 – Friday 13 February 2015 at LCC is Green Week 2015: Natural Capital, with a packed programme of events focusing on London’s green spaces and urban sustainability.

Booking is open for selected events, with many more available on a drop-in basis.

Highlights include a talk on fitness, nutrition and health by the UK’s leading expert in Paleo fitness Darryl Edwards, immediately followed by a Primal Play workshop designed to improve health, strength and wellbeing.

A set of inspirational Creative Activism talks featuring David Buckland (Cape Farewell), Danielle Paffard (350.org) and UAL’s Tony Credland and David Cross explores campaigning, art activism, Art for Change/COP21 and global divestment.

After these kick-start talks, the Games for Change and X Challenge workshops take on the ideas of climate change and divestment campaigning and invite participants to devise their own creative responses.

Independent film director Jerry Rothwell is ‘In Conversation’ with PARC’s Brigitte Lardinois on Wednesday, talking about how visits to the Greenpeace archives in Amsterdam inspired the idea for the production of his documentary feature about Greenpeace’s founders, ‘How to Change the World’.

Available across the week will be a special Green Edition of Artefact Magazine, the Unbinding the Book exhibition featuring LCC graduates, and Figures of Folk, a collaborative exhibition with PARC and the Museum of British Folklore.

We hope you enjoy as many of these diverse and inspiring events as possible!
