This summer printing company Saxoprint are celebrating the launch of their new ProStudio design and print community with a Great British Postcard Competition – open to all UAL students and alumni.

Designers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives are being asked to create a postcard that answers the question “what does it mean to be living, working or studying in Britain today?”

The best postcards will win some fantastic prizes, including £5,000 cash and a Wacom Cintiq 13HD. UAL students are also eligible for a special £1,000 top prize and three £500 runner up prizes. You can enter up to three postcards and the deadline is 31st August.

And to give you even more reasons to enter, for every UAL student or alumni who registers Saxoprint are generously giving a donation to LCC’s Design School student hardship fund. They’ll be helping students with financial emergencies, offering small grants to pay for materials, and helping LCC make sure all creative opportunities are open to all students.

Visit Saxoprint’s website to register to enter the competition and select ‘UAL Alumni’ or ‘UAL Student’ in the ‘Who are you?’ section.

Follow the competition through their Twitter account, Facebook  and Instagram.
