Biography

Ricardo is a graphic designer, visual researcher and Associate Lecturer on MA Graphic Media Design and BA (Hons) Design for Branded Spaces at London College of Communication.

His research focuses on the cultural and political impact of network culture, exploring visually through print publishing, design fiction and visual essays. He is also part of TROJAN HORSE, a critical research hub exploring infiltration as a critical method of design.

Ricardo works regularly as an art director and designer with various art, fashion and cultural institutions including TANK magazine, TOPSAFE publisher, the V&A, and Berlin-based art collective REIF.

Ricardo holds an MA in Graphic Media Design from LCC, a BA in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts Lisbon, and has worked commercially in design studios including Polimekanos and New Studio.
