Biography

Oliver Wrobel is graphic designer, visual jockey and Course Leader for Pg Design for Visual Communication Dip, Cert and MA at London College of Communication.

Over the past 15 years he has worked in various advertising and branding studios (freelance and employed), before he made a shift towards exhibition graphics and interactive visual shows for cultural institutions and the arts.

Oliver's clients include Mercedes-Benz, Random House Germany,  the German Federal Constitutional Court, the German Chamber of Commerce, the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre in Hong Kong, ZKM – Centre for Art and Media in Karlsruhe.

He aims to make complex topics more accessible to audiences of all backgrounds and ages through design. A digital counterpart to exhibition design is his love for motion graphics in mixed reality context.

Over the years his focus shifted from being a VJ playing in clubs at night to helping AR and VR projects with character and environmental design, storyboarding, and XR branding.
