Biography

Christos Sfetsios is a Lecturer on MA Visual Effects and is the Animation and Visual Communication Specialist Technician on BA (Hons) Animation at London College of Communication.

Christos is an Autodesk Certified Maya Professional who has worked in the Higher Education Sector for 5 years. Christos also teaches short courses in Maya at LCC.

After studying an undergraduate degree in 3D Design from Greenwich University, Christos went on to study MA Animation at Ravensbourne University.

In 2018, Christos was a participating artist in the French video mapping festival, Rencontres Audiovisuelles at the Palais des Beaux-Arts Museum.

Christos worked on the London 2012 Olympic project as design lead for the Olympic Delivery Authority commemorating the role that the Royal Artillery Barracks had in hosting the 2012 Shooting games.

As a teacher, Christos encourages his students to work outside of their comfort zones in order to develop their existing skills and knowledge to their full potential.

He wants his students to approach storytelling in a non-conventional way, incorporating a wide range of other mediums to give them a broader understanding of the arts.
