Biography
Amy Etherington is a graphic designer, writer and musician. Her practice investigates possibilities of DIY feminist publishing, acting as editor and designer of an open-call community journal of feminist theory. Her teaching practice is deeply rooted in feminist materialist pedagogies, making attempts to destabilise structures of power as they emerge within the classroom.
Beyond the institution, her freelance work is focused on typography and printed matter within queer community contexts and the UK DIY music scene. When she is not designing, writing or teaching, Amy plays in a feminist brutal death metal band.
