In February 2025, LCC students were invited to the spring term LCC Student Town Hall – which gave students the chance to hear from Kene Igweonu, LCC's Head of College and Yvonne Yuan, Arts SU Officer and to ask questions and make suggestions about life at LCC.

The events aim to give students the opportunity to have their voice heard by LCC’s senior leadership to help co-create solutions to continue to improve the experience of students at the College.

Students are able to give feedback directly to Kene on how recent changes at the College have impacted them, and suggest improvements that the College might consider making. A number of changes have already been made at LCC as a direct result of student engagement at previous LCC Student Town Halls.

The spring term Town Hall took place at LCC's Information Centre, where students heard from Kene on improvements made because of student feedback provided at the last Town Hall in October. Kene also shared news, success stories, upcoming events and the importance of completing this year’s Student Survey.

LCC Arts SU Officer Yvonne turned the spotlight on the ‘importance and power of the student voice’ and suggested ways to get involved and make a positive difference to your university experience.

The next LCC Student Town Hall will take place on Tuesday 10 June – mark the dates in your diaries to get direct access to LCC senior leadership and to have your voice heard. The theme of the next discussion will be announced soon.
