Talking About Art Online Short Course
Course description
Through group discussions and reflective evaluation, this online short course will examine the language used to describe Contemporary Art and explore the potential to introduce personalised vocabulary to develop new, exciting and illuminating responses when describing and writing about artworks.
This two-hour online short course strives to make accessible the sometimes intimidating sphere of critical theory, to help you find your voice and build confidence in discussion situations.
This online short course is aimed at artists, creatives, makers and writers hoping to discover a fresh perspective on how to discuss art critically and write about their own practice, and also those who are currently struggling to find a route into developing their own voice when responding to their practice and Contemporary Art.
This will be a useful course for artists who are studying at University or have just left and are embarking on their creative careers and are regularly required to write about and discuss their practice.
