How to accept your offer
If you haven’t accepted your offer you will need to log into your UAL Portal, go to ‘myApplications’ and select ‘Accept offer’.
We recommend you accept as soon as possible to prevent any delays with your enrolment.
If you hold an offer for an undergraduate degree and a UAL Foundation or Level 3 pre-degree course, you can accept one course at each study level. You’ll need to confirm whether you’ll be studying your pre-degree or undergraduate course as soon as possible once you’ve received your results.
Offer conditions
Check your offer conditions and deadline
You may not be able to join UAL if you do not meet your offer conditions by the following deadlines. If you have a deposit requirement, you also need to have paid this in cleared funds by your deadline date.
Deadline date: 14 August 2025
- L3 International Intro to the Study of Fashion
- L3 International Intro to the Study of Design Media & Screen
- L3 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design*
Deadline date: 31 August 2025
- L4 Cert HE Preparation for Design Media & Screen

* If you are a UK/Home student with an offer to study the UAL Foundation Diploma and are currently retaking your GCSEs, you may not be able to make the 14 August deadline. We will consider your retake results once they are released and will not make a final decision until you receive your results and shared them with our Admissions team.
How to submit your exam results (A-Levels or equivalent)
You will need to share your results with UAL. Once you have received your results, you can add them to your application in UAL Portal yourself. Once our Admissions team have reviewed them, provided you have met the conditions of your offer, will make your offer unconditional and notify you.
Why you may need to take a different English language test
UKVI require a Secure English Language Test (SELT) where you need a visa to study. This test must also be less than 2 years old on the start date of your course. You must complete an “IELTS Academic for UKVI” or similar test to study a pre-degree course at UAL. This is a different English language test than what’s required to study an undergraduate course at UAL.
Please note: You cannot use your IB English to meet your English language condition, where you need a visa to study. It may be possible to accept where a visa isn't required. Please check with our specialist team.
For more information, check our English language requirements webpage.
Change pathways
Changing your pathway
You cannot change your pathway. The offer you have received cannot be changed or negotiated.
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number
If you are an international student and require a CAS number, you will receive it by email from the Admissions team once you have:
- Met the conditions of your offer
- Paid your deposit
- It’s approximately 3 months before your course starts
- Uploaded a copy of the passport you will make your visa application with to your UAL Portal.
You can only receive your CAS number in relation to one course offer. If you have received and accepted multiple offers for courses at UAL, an offer to enrol in multiple courses at UAL, you will need to let us know which one is your preferred course. Your CAS will only be issued once you have confirmed your choice.
For more information, check out the student visa webpage.
