University Mental Health Day, 2026, UAL

On the 12 March we observe University Mental Health Day at UAL and with this year's theme being "human connection" we aim to bring you resources, activities and events throughout the week that build a sense of community and belonging at UAL.

University life has its sets of challenges and it’s perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed by it sometimes. Whether you’re feeling stressed about deadlines, anxious about the future or homesick, UAL has the resources you need to make you feel better.

Where to start?

Firstly, you can reach out to your tutor or your friends, find people you trust and let them know what is on your mind.

If you need to talk to a mental health professional, book a counselling appointment via this form or attend a drop in wellbeing session directly at your College. You can also call +44 (0)20 7514 6251 or email counselling@arts.ac.uk.

If you need a safe place for you to share what’s on your mind and get support with your mental health and wellbeing, download Togetherall for 24/7 online mental health support.

If you need a quiet space to pray, decompress or catch your breath, you can find quiet spaces on site at UAL.

If you require urgent mental health support, you can call +44 (0)20 7514 6426 and ask to speak the Duty Worker or email studenthealth@arts.ac.uk

You can also call 111 (non-life-threatening emergency) or 999 (life-threatening emergency) for NHS support.

Events and community

Student services are organising multiple events across UAL campuses, discover their programme of wellbeing sessions, yoga classes, meditation and more.
