National Student Money Week (NSMW) is coming to UAL next week so get ready for some great activities, fun giveaways, and handy money advice.

NSMW is an annual campaign where universities work together to bring free money advice to students across the UK.

This year, the theme is Spend Healthy, Live Healthy: Sustainable Money, so come along if you’re looking to learn how to be a better spender, saver and consumer for our wonderful planet.

The Student Advice Service will be at the locations below between 11am – 3pm:

  • Monday 10 February The Street, Central Saint Martins (CSM)
  • Tuesday 11 February Canteen, London College of Communication (LCC)
  • Thursday 13 February Canteen at Wimbledon College of Arts and the foyer at Camberwell College of Arts
  • Friday 14 February The Foyer, Lime Grove, London College of Fashion (LCF)

Visit us to pick up some tips and tricks that could help you save money. You will have the opportunity to win a box of fruit and vegetables on the day and be entered in our competition to win a fitness tracker. The winner will be announced at the end of the week. You will be able to collect your free jar and other goodies and get your questions answered regarding student finance.

University Hardship Fund

If you need financial support, you may be able to apply to the University Hardship Fund. Talk to Student Services during Money Week to see if you could be eligible and find out how to complete an application form. Staff will be available in Student Services offices and in college common spaces throughout the week.

Are you a final year student? Ask a Student Adviser about the Final Year Award.

  • At CSM you can also indulge in a free massage or have your bike checked by Dr Bike.
