Borrowing a laptop just got easier!

A new feature has been added to the MyUAL app, allowing you to check how many laptops are available to loan from the CSM Learning Zone.
The new 'Find a Laptop' feature reduces unnecessary waiting times while on-site.

How does it work?

‘Find a Laptop’ gives a real-time view of the number of laptops available and refreshes every 60 seconds. You can also see how many are charging at that time, so you know you won’t have long to wait.

Once a laptop shows as available, simply approach the enquiry desk and ask to loan one.

Laptops and Covid-19 safety

Laptops are currently being quarantined for 72 hours after being returned to ensure they meet Covid-19 safety regulations. After this point, the laptops are safe to use and automatically shown as available to loan.


Got an IT issue?

A new IT support tile has also launched on MyUAL making it quicker and easier to speak to University IT Services about problems affecting things like passwords and account issues.

Find the IT support tile near the top of the MyUAL homescreen for quick access to the phone number, email and MySupport ticket service.
