Accessing CSM over the winter break

Contacting staff

College academic, technical and support staff will be taking a break over the festive period. This may mean that it will take longer to come back to your enquiries throughout this time.

If you need urgent medical or mental health support during the holidays, please refer to our helplines and emergency support page (which includes information about how to access support when the university is closed – see ‘support outside of working hours’.

Key dates

Friday 12 December: Winter term finishes.

15-24 December: Many CSM staff will be on annual leave, and emails may not be answered until the College reopens on 5 January.

25 December – 4 January: UAL closed

Monday 5 January: College staff will return to work from this date.

Monday 12 January: Spring term begins.

Please note the building is closed from 4pm on 24 December. The building will reopen on Monday 5 January 2025.

Reception will close at 4pm on 24 December and reopens at 8.30am on Monday 5 January 2026.
