Career Crossroads brings together new UAL graduates and established industry professionals for an inspiring afternoon of connection, insight, and opportunity.


Designed to support emerging creative talent as you take your next steps outside of the classroom, this event will offer you the chance to connect with industry professionals across areas such as acting, direction, producing, set and prop making, costume, hair and make-up, and design.


Through panel talks, presentations, and one-to-one conversations, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of what the industry is really looking for, and how to position yourself as you begin building a sustainable creative career in this wide field.

Who is this event for?


  • This event is open to all 3rd year UAL students and recent UAL graduates (Bachelor and Masters only) interested in Performance, Hair, Make-up and Prosthetics, Theatre Arts, Technical Arts for Theatre and Screen, Costume, and Production Arts, plus the wider events and entertainment industry.
  • You may be interested in theatre making, sourcing, research and design such as props, costume, set design, and other behind-the scenes creative roles. Or you may be interested in a career in events such as immersive theatre and experiences involving installation, wardrobe styling and set-dressing, and other wider entertainment industry roles.
  • Whether you're a performer, a graduate creating your own work, applying for industry roles or freelancing, this event is designed to help you explore career possibilities in theatre, screen, and performance creative industries.
