Audition Technique For Drama School Short Course
Course description
This course is designed for actors of all ages who wish to hone their acting skills and audition technique in a positive and inspiring environment. From Shakespeare to contemporary playwrights, this course will prepare and invigorate you, showing ways to improve your skills and increase your confidence levels.
You will have both voice and movement sessions, working in a playful and inventive way to open up physically and vocally with likeminded people in a supportive atmosphere.
Whether auditioning for drama school, theatre, television or film, how you walk into that room and perform is all that's between you and that part... between you and that Oscar!

Level: Beginners
Clear, easy to understand lessons:
- Our tutors will explain things in easy to understand, accessible English. If they need to use any special terminology they will make sure they explain what they mean.

Your tutor will outline the course agenda in detail on day one of your course.
Materials
Please bring with you to the first session:
- Speeches you intend to audition with bearing in mind most drama schools ask for a minimum of one shakespeare and a contrasting contemporary piece.
- You are also advised to bring a change of clothes to move in, plus pencils, paper, and water.
