This course is aimed at the budding entrepreneur who is looking to start a lingerie or swimwear business. You'll be taken step-by-step through all the elements of a business start-up and receive practical advice on how to plan effectively for your new business venture.
The course will start with discussing your business type, structure, finance and business plan with the tutor and your peers. You'll then move on to discuss range planning, sourcing production and costing.
You'll leave the course with an awareness of customer requirements as well as a basic understanding of the financial needs to ensure continuity and success when starting your own Lingerie, Activewear or Swimwear Label.
This course is available both on campus or online.

She has over three years of experience in the lingerie, swimwear, and activewear industry, where she had the privilege of working alongside renowned designer and business owner Nichole de Carle. Her background in both business development and creative industries gives her a unique edge in helping entrepreneurs succeed.
Nadine will guide students step-by-step through the process of building a successful business, no matter your experience level. Her approach is practical, ensuring that even the most complex business concepts are broken down into easy-to-understand, actionable strategies. With experience from London Contour Experts, where she developed complete business plans, including sales, marketing, and budgeting strategies for entrepreneurs, Nadine can help you turn your ideas into a thriving business.
Nichole de Carle
Nichole de Carle is a contour design specialist and fashion entrepreneur with over a decade of experience shaping the bodywear and activewear industry. A First-Class Honours graduate in Contour Design from De Montfort University, her career began at global fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan New York, and Pleasure State.
In 2010, Nichole launched her eponymous label, creating bespoke designs for icons such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Rita Ora. Following the brand’s acquisition in 2021, she redirected her expertise to drive innovation across her consultancy, London Contour Experts, where she also serves as the trend forecaster for Performance Days Global Tradeshows and a partner with the trend forecasting company Concepts Paris.
Named on Lingerie Insight’s Power List as a leading industry influencer, Nichole combines creative direction, business strategy, and brand innovation to help contour and fashion brands thrive.
