Are you a UAL graduate or current student creating art in a shared space?
We are looking for interviewees for a video series about shared spaces that enable the practice of a group or pair of artists outside of the traditional studio.
This is a chance for you to showcase your practice and platform your work. All successful interviewees will get paid for their time.
Some of the shared spaces we are looking for might include:
- Community workshop spaces
- Art collectives
- Virtual spaces
- Public spaces (skate parks, public gathering places, coffee shops, etc.)
- Nature
We are particularly interested in examples where creativity is applied at the intersection of social action and art.
The purpose of the film is to demonstrate the ability of artists and activists to collaborate beyond the boundaries of the university workshop space and private studio. It also seeks to showcase how different spaces can be reclaimed or appropriated for collective and individual creative exploration.
Submit a few words about your arts practice, creative space and how many people are involved through our submission form by 16 October for a chance to be featured.
