What time is it there? Exploring being a student in different time zones
The unprecedented circumstances of the global pandemic mean that the experiences of being a student at Central Saint Martins are affected by where we are in the world right now – our lives are impacted by time zones in new (and, for some, maybe not so new) ways.
This Student Experience Symposium is for students to get together, share and reflect on experiences of studying (and living) in different time zones. The Symposium will be hosted by Jonathan Carson, Associate Dean of Student Experience at CSM, and Helen McAllister, Associate Dean of International Student Experience for UAL.
Points we hope to explore include:
- What’s the biggest challenge of studying in a different time zone?
- What’s it like to collaborate with other students across time zones?
- What surprising things have you discovered about working in different time zones?
How can I join?
All students are welcome to take part. Join online on Monday 15 March, 10–11am (UK time).
To register for the event please email Sam Colwell s.colwell@csm.arts.ac.uk with your name and the course you are studying – you will receive a link to the session once you have registered.
