Calling all UAL students! We'd love to hear more about what you're making, writing and imagining at home, what tips you have for other students, and what you'd like to say to our community during this challenging time.
We're producing a short film on how the international UAL community has rallied together during the coronavirus outbreak, and we want you to take part!
All you need to do is film a short video message on your phone camera using one or more of the prompts below. You can respond as creatively as you like, filming either yourself talking to camera, or filming objects from your home, drawings and materials, your animal co-worker, snacks that fuel your creativity, your makeshift studio space – whatever you like.

- What's the one thing you would like to say to the UAL community right now?
- Adjusting to isolation and its challenges - any top tips for students?
- What are you doing now that you’ve never done before?
- What are you working on at the moment?
Video tips
- Please record your footage using a phone camera in portrait format, so that it’s consistent for everyone
- Please keep your responses short – no more than 10-15 seconds per question
How to submit
Please submit your videos via email to studentcomms@arts.ac.uk by Sunday 17 May 2020.
Please include your name, college, course and where you're currently based in the world in the email.
The videos will potentially be shared on our social media channels, in our student and staff newsletters, and on the UAL website. If you would like to be tagged if we share the footage on social media, please provide us with your preferred Instagram handle.
